I am looking for complete circuit diagram of motherboard of HP Pavilion dv9000 notebook.
Any service manual that I have downloaded untill now, does not include circuit diagram and only contains assembly/disassembly procedure.
Could you please help me to find more detailed information about this model or similar.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Most laptops and for that matter desktops too do NOT include the schematics for motherboards. It's very rare to find one that does. I've got over 700 desktop and laptop service manuals and none of them have motherboard schematics. The most they have are block diagrams.

Thank you for your reply. As you can search, some companies advertized that they can repair notebook motherboards, and you know that repairing a motherboard without a circuit diagram is nearly impossible, because its PCB is multilayer and tracing connection between components is very difficult. How they can do this?
In www.manualzone.com, they said that their service manual contains diagrams, and a service manual for HP dv9000 costs $25. but I am not sure it realy has diagram or not. I emailed them but they didn't reply. |

Let me see what I can do. $25.00 for a single manual is outrageous.
If you had emailed me from my site at justmanuals.com, you would've already had your answer.

Ok, we have good and bad news here. I found the HP Notebook PC dv9000 & dv9200 Maintenance-Parts & Service Guide on my hard drive and I now have it on my site at:
http://www.justmanuals.com/notebook-dv9000-dv9200-maintenanceparts-service-guide-p-40458.html
300 pages, 3.9mb $10.77 and instant download.
The bad news, there are no electrical diagrams, either circuit or schematics in this manual.
If you ever get a reply from manualzone, ask them to send you a partial screen capture of a schematic from the manual. Of course they could send you a screen capture from another manual, and you may not be able to spot the difference, but that's the chance you take.
I am telling you right out that what you're looking for isn't there.
Integrity counts!

Justmanuals is correct and make sure to check before you buy. Anyone can claim motherboard repair but what they don't tell you that it is very limited at best. As you have indicated, repairing multilayer PCB's are nearly impossible to component level. Sure you can always check for the basics (ie, visual signs, voltage checks, or common failed devices, etc)-- not anything like a consumer electronic piece & that is why there is generally no detailed schematics provided. |

I downloaded a couple of these schematics. There is no indication on any of them that they actually ARE HP schematics. All of them say Wistron Industries, most likely a Chinese knockoff manufacturer.
