i have this av reciever Yamaha RX-V650 cant stay power on. it can power on 2-3 second then turn it off by itself.

impedance selector switc seems ok. c405, c406, c411 was change still the same. any body can help me pls.

all power transitor ok, all power supply meseured ok, no sign of shorted or burn,all fuses ok, my problem is, when put power on the display will come on and sudenly it will power off with in 1-3 second. and the speaker relay not yet get on.

Power may measure O.K. at the source but may not be reaching the final destinations.

i have just found one of the channel showing with -4 to -6volt output voltage. sopuse to be zero. changed output transistor still the same.

Measure the same points in both channels until cause is pinpointed. Could be a driver transistor or even a bad resistor.

jts1957,

i solve the problem. it was a capacitor at the deffirential amplifier. capacitor get leakage. ( c323 / 47uf/16v ) at SBR channel.
