toshiba 43vj33q rear projection tv

this set appears to be stuck in standby . however i can switch the set on by bridging pin 3 + 4 on the microprocessor then the power supply will provide all correct voltages according to the service manual but the screen is blank and no sound . i have replaced the three convergence ics SLA5041m but has made no difference . has anyone any ideas on what to check next .

well first of all if you can't turn the set on normally, and you jump the prcessor, then i would think you need to replace the processor, or on one occasion, i found a bad cap right by the processor, either one will cause your problem,. carl
