Hi.
I have an old saisho radio with twin tape recorders. One of the recorders plays normal, but the other is very fast. The bands appear to be in good order. Would it be the motor at fault? If so, is there anything I can do to rectify it, other than binning it?
Many thanks. Tom |

if its playing to fast, this sounds like the volage regulater that drives the moter has gone most moters have 2 sets of windins one for play the other for fast forwed and revined if that is the case you put a teglating secet in line that way u do not have to do any folt finding or the right way is to trase the tracs back it looks like a transitor |

Try looking for a trimmer resistor to adjust the tape speed. |
