Hello all

I just recently had a viewsonic n2750w vs10576-1m have back light problems.
when i turn the TV on the screen appears in full color for a split second then goes to black (with no menus displaying) with audio still playing. I am suspecting the inverter board since the power supply all seems fine. The second problem i have is finding an inverter board. I have found a board that is close to what i have but a few numbers are different

my board is a Darfon 48.v0708.001 /E2 l270W1-24-V04 REV 1G
VO8807010104 G26 S163185 E206453 V070-001

proposed board Darfon 48.v0708.001 /E2 l270W1-24-V04 REV 1G VO8807010104 G34 S362143 E206453 V070-001

DO you think the proposed inverter board will work with my TV or do you think i am out of luck?? The supplier does not list my tv as compatable.

here is the link

Don't forget, It can also be bad CCFL bulbs.

IF you have "power" and "backlite ON" voltages present, it could be defective Inverter board or bulb(s).

well just to give u a little more information the TV started acting up about a week ago where in the morning the TV would turn on for an instant and then black out. I would then turn the TV off then back on and the tv would work no problem. Now its to the point where it just doesn't stay on. Do you still think that the bulbs could be the culprit if the entire screen lights up for an instant?

Look for burn holes in the transformers.

Possibilities:

Bulbs (in LCD panel);

Fuse(s), Transformers, Electrolytic capacitors, driver transistor(s)/MOSFETS/ICs - ALL on the inverter board;

Inverter board NOT receiving continuous B-Plus (from the power supply);

Inverter board losing "ENABLE" voltage (usually from main board). Should be present when your screen lights and should still be present even after the screen goes out.

ok i just used a cheap inverter and checked each ccfl. Each one lit up with no problems at all. I think this rules out the bulbs unless someone can tell me otherwise. I also ordered a new inverter board and should be arriving Thursday. I will keep you posted.

Thanks
