Vista does not allow the upgrade to Windows XP (as opposed to may).
Make sure you do not have data on the hard drive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked
If you are not sure better not to know anything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rolling Eyes

Turn on the computer.
When you boot the system, then insert the installation CD in Windows XP computer. Now restart the computer.
After beginning the inclusion immediately go into bios (press F2 or F8 or CTRL ALT DEL or F10).
Find the 'boot' and set 'From CD or DVD'
Then follow the instructions.
Format the partition on which Vista.

Good luck logankalo! Wink

Well, I think you should purchase other version such as window 7 ultimate. It is easy to use with. And you don't have to encounter any problem or trouble with installation.

You already have vista and now you want to go back to xp. I guess it's because of the speed right? XP is way faster than vista. Well, you can downgrade from vista to xp. It will ruin a lot of system registries and could again cause your computer not to boot up. If you really want to have XP again, you must backup all of your important files and then Reinstall windows XP by reformatting your harddisk.

Yes its possible but it may cause some problem as Microsoft does not allowed downgrading of its operating system, but if you really willing to do so just make sure to erase your hard-drive before installing Windows Xp!
