Magnavox Model 15MF237S/27 has much static after warmup. Previously someone indicated a certain resistor needs to be modified. I need help in locating which and where this resistor is in the set and how to modify. An alternate solution is also appreciated. Thankyou

Have you checked the 3 1000uf caps on the mother board? The tops should be puffed up. Replace them with 16 or 25 volt 1000uf caps.

When I say static I want to clarify that the picture becomes totally distorted as well as sound.
