I have a piece of analog musical equipment from the mid 80's--a Dynacord CLS-222 Leslie Simulator which is making a loud hum, I believe at 120 cycles, that rises and falls with the output level. Is this a power supply problem?
Any suggestions?

loud hums are usually associated with filter capacitors..Your musical equipment being old enough..try checking the filter capacitors on the power supply section it could be leaky. |
