Hi all,

I have the above TV which does not do very much at all. When switched on there is no sound or picture (unless A1 is adjusted when the screen turns green and scan lines appear).

I would welome any ideas of where to start with this.

I have schematics and cct diagram for the same chassis (EB6-A28), but the actual circuit board is a little different.

Any advice welcomed Smile

Thanks,
Mark

I've looked into this a little further. All of the DC rails seem to be OK so I will do some more digging, but I really hope that this is not a problem with the processor side of things Sad

Right, a little more info. I connected my daughters gamecube to the scart and although there is no picture, there is at least sound Very Happy

So, it looks like the output driver stage to the CRT may be at fault.

Any idea on how to test this?

Cheers,
Mark

"problem" is the basis to everything we know about this subject.

When you tested all of the dc rails, are you sure they did not have excessive noise or ripple on them? Is the B+ within spec?
