My daughter has a Sharp tv, built in vcr, 13', she hit the tamper proof button, I can't get it off....help! Does anyone know how?

I have this same problem with a sharp tv. Did anybody ever submit an answer to this problem? Please respond.

My tenant just left behind the same TV-VCR with the tamper-proof blinking and TV won't turn on. Any way to get it off? Model # is 13VT-L100, manufactured May, 1999. Thanks!

If you have misplaced the owners manual it is no big deal just hold down the tamper proof button on the remote for 4 seconds and the light should go off and the tv will work normally.
