WHEN REMOVING THE OLD STK392-110 IS THERE A SPECIAL WAY YOU ARE TO CLEAN THE COOLER BLOCKS BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW STK392-110 ALONG WITH THERMAL COMPOUND,AND IS THIS SOMTHING THAT CAN BE DONE WITH OUT HAVING TO CALL IN A SPECIAL TECH AND PAY OUT $420.00 |

We don't clean the old grease unless it has gone hard, just wipe it off and apply a thin coating to the new ic's. You could use rubbing alchohol to clean.
