I have a Mitsubishi VS-5007R Projection TV, and the screen rolls to the top.....It stopped after about an hour, at first, but now it takes about 4 hours to stop rolling.....any help would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks..

Replace C2046 & C2a04 on signal board.

C2046 47uf @50 V and C2A04 10uf @50v. This should stop your rolling. Let me know.

Any chance you know the approximate locations?
I can't find C2046 or C2A04 on the Signal Board...

C2046 is near a bank of silver colored inductors and C2A04 is near the center of the signal board by a 2-pin connector AY.

Same model Tv VS-5007R is doing the same problem as above, the C2A04 resistor has been changed and the C2046 will be changed tommorow when radio shack opens, the question is:

these resistors dont look inflated or damaged in any way, does that mean they are dead or broken? Also C2A04 was changed and the TV turned on as a test and the V-Hold is still not locked down.

There capacitors, if you have an esr meter you can check them to see if there dry.

looks like Radio shack doesnt carry 47u 50v, Il try ebay. I will ask my friend if he's got that esr metter
