I got the speakers figured out. Can anyone help me with the color codes for ignition wire battery wire ground wire . When I pulled out the factory stereo. It Had small instruction at back saying K30,K31,SAFE,ALM,K58b,
K-LN and so on... anyone knows what what this means from the wiring harness off the factory stereo. Remember 1999 VW Golf. High appreciate the assistance. Thank u all

A '99 VW Golf should have standardized ISO connectors for the stereo, it is generally better to rely on the pin configuration of those connectors than to use the wiring colors. If you are going to install a car stereo that does not have ISO connectors (i.e. an off brand or a very old model), then use ISO adapter cables rather than cutting off the connectors from the car's wiring.
For VW, the wiring colors are often different depending on the market where the car is sold (in particular, there are differences between US and european models), if it is LHD or RHD and so on.

The connection designations are an official standard.
For example:
30 - permanent + 12 V from battery
15 or X - +12 V via ignition key
31 - chassis ground
58 (possibly with a suffix letter) - parking lights, panel lights etc.
