|
|
I've had my camera for 3 years now, worked great in every way until last night. When I tried to take pictures, it just TURNS OFF. When I set the camera to preview pictures, it works just fine...as soon as I flip the little switch to take pictures, it turns off.
WHY?!?!?
Is there any way to fix this myself without having to take it to a repair place?
The camera is a Fujifilm E550

Now I was just playing with it, and I got the lens to open but it won't go back into the camera. Everything else is still the same, when I turn it on to "preview" it's fine, when I turn it to "take picture" it turns off. |

If battery is not the problem, more than likely it is a lense related issue. Not familiar with the model, but sounds like a typical error detection in the camera mode which'd cause it to shutt off due to some sort of a fault ---not something for consumer to even attempt to fix. suggest contacting servicer/dealer.
With today's disposable products, may be better off getting a new one after all? |

I haven't, but the batteries work fine. I put those batteries in another item and they were working just fine. Plus the camera works when I turn it on to "preview" so there's obviously a source of energy. Not sure if batteries can have an effect other than giving energy javascript:emoticon('')
