Need download url for the manual for an ECS Elitegroup G732 2.0 motherboard. This is all the info I have via a Belarc Advisor scan.

Would more detailed info be on the mobo? The computer is "dead in the water" and out of warranty, so I could open the case, if necessary. It gives out four short, evenly spaced "beebs" when powered up and nothing more- black screen.

I have not been able to navigate the ECS site. Sure would appreciate your help!

Thanks for the response and the link. On that page I found a "button" that took me to another page where there were links to how to obtain info re the motherboard and the BIOS.

I will have to open the case to see the info. Perhaps then I will be able to use Google or ECS Support to find answers. So far, ECS Support has been abominable!

I'll be back at some point with a report.

I have to admit your chances of getting the manual for the motherboard are very slim for any notebook never mind ECS just as the users who keep asking for the schematics for notebooks and the seller who replies I have many notebook service manuals available on my site, what is not said is their are very few schematics in any of the service manuals for notebooks.

I would concentrate on the beeps you are getting this is universal with all computer equipment/motherboards, the machine is not beeping for the hell of it, it is actually trying to tell you something. Have a look here http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

The Beep codes are not universal. They are different according to the manfacturer and the version of the BIOS. I believe you can get a copy of the beep codes from the site listed above. Or you can Google for the BIOS beep codes. Most manuals on laptops do not have the schematics for the motherboard included. Even if you were to buy a new motherboard of which I've installed many, schematics are not included.

Should have said universal to the bios manufacturer Rolling Eyes

Had a few to many black and tans last night (guinness and mild mix with a drop of whiskey for those who dont know what it is) when i replied Laughing

Any way the ECS notebook is using the phoenix bios, have a look at this chart it should tell you what you need to know.
