HI
I have a JVC HR-s9800u
The eject motor keeps running for 10 seconds after the tape ejects. Then the unit shuts down. I really want to fix this thing, as its a nice unit.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't the manual for your particular set. Be it could easyly be a widened belt.

Yes, a set of belts can be bought quite cheaply.

hi
Do you know what determines when the motor should stop? Is it the mode switch or is there a switch or sensor...?

Thanks

Unless it is a very old model it will be the mode switch. Otherwise a visable leaf switch at the top of the deck.
