Hey guys, I have had this problem for a while now. I have a Vizio L32 not the L32 HDTV10A. It is stuck in standby, the power light just stays yellow and will not respond to the power button of remote. I am pretty sure that it is not the power supply, because I hooked up the power supply to a Vizio VX32L (broken panel) main board and it powered up just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this or where the problem is? Maybe it could be stuck in some fault mode where it locks the TV from turning on. Anyone know how to bypass any fault modes?

If the power LED/lite is always in amber state, your problem could be in the switching power supply - check all your caps, semi's, etc.

Sorry, had overlooked your comment regarding hooking up your supply to another unit; check the 3.3V supply at the controller board.

Hi, where would I check the 3.3V supply and what should I do if it is at 3.3V or not? Thanks.

A manual may help.

haha I see that you're trying to sell your manuals, but no thanks, unless they're free of course.
