There could be a short on the mainboard.
Try to measure if there is a short on e.g. the high voltage transitor.
If not, check the secundairy voltages, to see in what circuit the short is?

I would start by checking if there is a short on the mainboard, by checking if the high voltage transitor (HOT).
Do you have any experience in electronics? |

is the high voltgae transistor means the horizintal transistor ??
and how do i have to check between the leads ( Base, emitter & collector ) ? |

Yep!
First check if there is a short between the collector and emitter.
(The "short" (low resistance) between base and emitter is "normal", there is a small trnsformer between them.) |

ok i will do that. But i took out the transistor from the board & switch the tv on & the fast tick tick sound is still there. does this means the problem is in another ? anyways i will check the transistor. but give me some idea about that. |
