I've disassembled an electro luminscent night light (120 volt plug, .03 watts), and am trying to see if I can power the light with a 3.6 volt button battery. Is this possible? The light is the exact same type of light used in a timex ironman watch, only the surface area is about 4x as large. I tried connecting two pieces of copper wire from a 3.6 volt button battery to the two terminals on the light (which originally connected to the 120 volt plug ends), but nothing happened.

How can I successfully get this set-up to work? Thanks in advance for any advice.
