I just aquired this tv for free. Worked fine when I first hooked it up for an hour or two. I left the room for a while and came back and had no picyure or sound. Unplugged and tried after about 5 min. and vertical was squished to about half screen height. Tried again after about an hour and vertical was squished to a few inches. Anyone know what might be the prob. or where I could start? Most post I've seen for this model have been with convergence issues but even at half height that didn't seem to be a problem.

Replace or Check vertcal ic.This ic comes loose and at times needs re Solderd
