I also have an Onkyo TX-DS575x that no longer produces any sound. There is no output from the speaker outputs or the headphone outputs. The problem appeared with no warning. |

Re soldering PROM IC Q710 on DSP board was a typical fix for various brands/models. For whatever reason, it was not sufficiently soldered in the wave machine and sooner or later it would cause audio muting due to interruption of digital data flow. Unless you are familiar with surface mount soldering, do not attempt it. |

Just paid around 800 USD for one of these systems this week and it died! Within a week, luckily the store will give me a refund but I will NEVER buy another product from this manufacturer. Be warned, Onkyo products are not what they used to be. |

I have an Onkyo Tx-NR807 and just experienced the same issue. Firmware is up to date and after numerous resets - No sound & No network. |

This is a common problem with Onkyos. There are about 10 muting transistors located on the preamp board that become leaky. This will cause shutdown when the volume is turned down or functions are changed. Also look for loose solder connections on the DSP board. _________________ kamiod dek |

Bottom right of page:
"This file is downloadable free of charge from the site... processing"
changes and will become:
"GET MANUAL" Not logged in Only two downloads a day!"
Left click on "Get Manual."
Try a different browser if it doesn't change for you. _________________ You're over there, I'm over here. |
