Samsung LN52B630 turn on issue

I have a 53 in LCD flat panel TV and it doesn't want to turn on. When I disconnect the mainboard the backlights turn on. When I connect the mainboard, the front panel power light indicator is on but will turn off and stay off when I hit the power button on the remote. Also, if I leave the power light indicator on for a while, the light stays on regardless if I hit the power button on the remote. Any help would really be appreciated.

Sorry, it's a 52 in TV not 53.
