Hitachi 32 inch wide screen, heavy pinstripe pattern over picture, can anyone help.

Hi there,

from my experience, there can be a prob. with the connection(s)
to the cable TV network.
If the shielding is not properly connected, or there is a bad
contact you can have this strange pattern on the screen.
It is more pronounced at some channels, mostly these
in Band I.

I also had this problem coming from a switching powersupply
from a nearby standing VCR. It was almost impossible to solve
this, unless the VCR was put away a few meters from the TV.
