TECHNICS???????????

I have a Technics music system. Code: SC-DV290. When I insert a DVD disc (bought ones from shops, not copied) it comes up "READ" but then says HO2 followed by no read. These discs have played many times before. Help!!!!!!!

HO2 USUALLY MEANS THE SPINDLE MOTOR IS NOT ROTATING, TAKE THE LID OFF AND WHILE THE DISPLAY SAYS READ GIVE THE DISC A SLIGHT PUSH IN THE CLOCKWISE DIRECTION, IF IT THEN PLAYS YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE SPINDLE MOTOR.
