I bought the car used and it doesn't have any mention of a code.

Two sources of information say that the code in this model is determined by 'jumpers ' , a series of bridges ( often 10 ) on the circuit board that are soldered or left open to make the different codes , unfortunately I can't find anything about where the jumpers are on the circuit board !
