This is a 'vin coded radio ' i.e it is recognised by the immobiliser system in the original vehicle it was fitted to , to use it in a different vehicle it needs the new
vehicle details to be programmed into it , I'm not sure if the main dealer will do this , if not a competent decoding service should be able to help .
