Need CD Changer XL-M400BK Repair Assistance

I have an XL-M400BK 6 disc changer and an XL-M500BK 6+1 disc changer. I have the user & service/tech manuals but I'm not a technician but a DIYer. On both machines the discs will load from the magazine but won't spin or play. If I leave the machines alone for a long time (5-10-15 minutes) they start to play but will only play one song. Then disc stops & nothing happens for another 5-10-15 minutes. Can anyone offer repair tips? Thanks!
