Cant Play DVDs on my Sharp TV

just been given a Sharp SX68G7 68cm tv and find that when I got it it was great, then it keept loosing DVD picture (sound was still there) now we dont get any picture when we play any DVDs just get sound.

all the normal chanells are there and ok,

dose anyone have any solutions as to what I can do to fix it

Hey,
I once had a similar fault. It was the scart that wasn't inserted correctly.
Might be worth checking. Or perhaps try with another scart.
If you own a VCR you can try to connect it instead of your DVD. Then you can see if the error is because of the DVD or it's you TV (perhaps some settings).

hello! I agree with bbhe. just check the cables. it may not be inserted properly. or you could replace the calbes with new ones. if it still doesn't work, try to clean the hole where the cable is inserted with a soft brush to get rid of the dust inside.
