laptop problem!! Help me please!

I feel really stupid - I spilled some orange squash on my laptop whilst doing some revision, I dried it the best I could and now it works fine except a few keys do not work - the L, apostrophe and full stop keys do nothing

At first when I turned it back on the l key was sticking down but then it just stopped working - does anyone know a way to fix this? Im not sure about taking it apart, no idea

Any suggestions would be good, thanks!

As it's only a few keys, you could use keyboard mapper and assign other keys (the arrow keys maybe?) to give you back the missing characters. Gets it working without opening it up.

Hi,
quite a trivial reply, but you best dismount it (not very difficult, it's often locked under the covers of screen hinges). Then carefully reach down to the individual key contacts, and clean with a wet cotton stick.

Thanks for the help! Luckily it's working fine now- maybe it just needed to dry out a bit more. It did go a bit funny when I switched it off for a while, but now it's working like normal, all the keys working ok. Quite lucky considering how much drink went over it!
