|
|
Hey all, I've never had to do this before so I'm somewhat lost. For a drama program I created a video on a Sony Handycam which was recorded onto a Mini DV tape. I can connect the recorder to my PC but the computer doesn't recognize it. It makes the noise that it's connected to something but refuses to transfer. I'm using Sony Vegas and tried Windows Movie Maker. I assume that I have to use the Stream USB mode since I'm not using a memory card and therefore I can't use the other option. When I do try the Memory Stick option, it connects but obviously doesn't transfer anything since there's no memory stick in it. I've tried changing the preferences on my software but that doesn't work either. It just doesn't think that there's any video device hooked up. If anyone has an answer, please reach me at [email protected]. Thanks everyone. |
