LG dish washer not filling.

We have a problem with an LG dish washer (LD-12AW2) which is not filling. It gives the "IE" (inlet error) code. It appears that the inlet solenoid is not opening to let water into the machine.

The inlet solenoid works if we manually put 240V across it, but when the machine operates only about 66V appears across it. Seems like this is not enough to make it open.

Is the operating voltage of the solenoid usually 66V? If so we probably have a faulty solenoid... if not, we probably have a problem with the power supply.

more than likely you main pcb board has failed get a technician dont screw with it if you dont know anything ( your local friendly tech ) have a nice day
