|

The unit works fine at low (<30) volume. Above 30, the sound stutters and cuts out, and the unit either "reboots" or switches off. It's worse with bass turned up above zero setting. At higher volumes I noticed the display dims in time with bass sounds. I've had the same problem with it installed in two different cars, and on an AC/DC adapter. Visually all components look fine.
Is this a known problem, or one anyone might be able to suggest the cause?
Thanks in advance! |

I don't know, but if you have made good connections on the outside of the unit I would be checking on the connections inside of the unit. (solderjoints) What do the waveshapes look like? |
