Hello,


No problem with on screen menu, it will stay on forever, responds to remote control commands, however, when connected to a computer signal, screen turns off with image from computer appearing only momentarily <1sec.

Have not tried it with TV antenna signal. Computer shop did not have one.

Originally, I thought it may be on child lock, (still do but not 100%) checked internet and it appears to be problem with this model. I tried several combinations to enter child lock, like 0000, but it rejected it as wrong code.


Although I don't have the unit in my possesion, it appears that the VGA input from the computer and the TV Signal from the tuner share some common components ( I don't have schematics, either) that may have gone bad and the control is reacting by shuting the screen down.

Hello,

An update, same thing happening with antenna TV signal. Child lock code (default) is 1111.

Controls for brightness, contrast, treble, bass, transparancy, etc. selected form Menu are inoperative.
