SONY FLAT PANEL PLASMA TV

I have the above TV Model KE-32TS2E and it is connected via the scart 3 socket from the video which in turn is connected to my satellite decoder. My problem is I have a number "3" appearing in the top left hand side of the screen and I cannot remove it.
Anyone out there know how to remove the display?

There is a button on the remote that says display, push it and the osd (on screen display) should turn off.
