Phillips 20pf7835/37 screen problems

My year and a half old Phillips Model Number 20pf7835/37 sudden seems to have lost the ability to sync (my diagnostic anyway). The picture is scrambled and seems to be trying to find a sync signal or something, tapping on the top of the set occassionally brings it back to normal. Any thoughts people? Sad

sounds like bad solder connections. Flip the mother board over and see if you can spot any ringed connections.
