having prob. in lg monitor model no:cb553h-na

Plz help me out of this prob. i have lg studioworks 500g modelno: cb553h-na chassis-CA-120. it was not working first. after changing power ic now it is working. but still prob. is screen is seeing to be very large n flikering. my hardware engineer is saying that their is vertical prob. in memory ic no.: m24c08 which is of 8 legs. he also say that moniter freq. had converted to 60hz & it should be 50hz. is it right? as when we press menu button of monitor. the resolution showed is 800x600 60Hz. so plz anyone can tell me how to change the freq from 60hz to 50hz. i will be very much thanfull to him.
