BMW 318 wrong code hit too many time

Anybody know what to do if wrong code is hit too many times and radio will not power up? Radio shut down after purchasing from junk yard and my daughter was hitting code buttons as we were driving around. Have left powered on for 4 hour trip... no luck. Need to get radio to power up, then will be able to input code. Any ideas? [email protected]
