No Color

LG RU-27FC30, Chassis MC-022A.

TV has no color, however, all colors are available in the menu. Minnie suggested in another thread the Jungle IC. Just a couple more questions. First of all, is there anything else I should check before sending it out to be repaired? Any other things that might have a "cold solder" or something that could cause this problem?
Is there any way to "test" the Jungle IC to see if that's the problem?
Does anyone know what changing a Jungle chip would cost? Is it a $100 repair? Or a $500 repair? (Just wondering if it's even worth fixing, as I don't have the equipment to solder something that small on my own.)

If it's an expensive fix, any other suggestions as to what I can do to get this thing some color? Other compatible boards?
