|
|
Hello,
I have a Salora 28E9F TV set that shuts down by itself (go to standby) some minutes after being turned on.
It is like some protection circuitry is over sensitive and causes the unwanted shut downs.
If I insist to turn the TV set on again, the more I try and the less the time before it switches off.
I checked on the internet and found out that this is a common failure with this series (Nokia, Oceanic, Solara = Eurodigi).
Any of you out there have the way to solve this problem?
Thanks a lot for your assistance:-) |

I have a similar problem with a Philips 28CL6670/25Z 28" 4:3 TV. The right hand side of the picture starts to distort, if the distortion gets too much it powers down to standby mode. If you tap sharply on the case before it shuts down the distortion ceases and it OK again for a while. This suggests a bad/dirty contact somewhere but removal and insertion of all connectors hasn't cured the problem.
Any help appreciated. |
