Variable powersupply SKYTRONICS 650.682

Hello,

I have a 0-30V, 10A variable powersupply (SKYTRONICS 650-682) with following problem:

Test condition: No load attached
Current: Both (coarse and fine) set to max
Potential: Moved slowly from zero to maximum. It increases fine up to around 13V without any problem. I then goes into problem and relay starts flicking. At that point if I try to increase the potential nothing happen except increased flicking. However, if instead of going slowly, I move quickly then it allows me to pass that problematic patch of (~13-15V) and after that every thing works fine again.

Similarly, if we return from max potential, then it allows smooth return but as soon as it comes under 15V, it starts flicking again.

Situation remains same under load condition.

Any idea where the problem might be (other than Relay, which is fine)?

I will appreciate any assistance.
