How Much Would You Pay??

Hello Everyone!
Well, my roomate is moving out and is interested in selling me his old TV. It is a really heavy 36' JVC TV and he just doesn't feel like dealing with it. The TV has a few spots on top but nothing major, and the original remote doesn't work, so I can only access the menu through the buttons on the TV which doesn't bother me. So, how much do you think the TV is worth??

If you are based in america then i would pay about $40 dollars for it maybe less, because a replacement remote control can cost anywhere from $40 to $72 so use this information when haggling, I found one on ebay for $20 though. hope this helps.
