Hi there. a few years ago i purchased a portable screen w/ built in
speakers for my brother's sony playstation 2. it worked fine and
everything was good until one day i went to plug it in to the wall and
i hear a loud buzzing emitting from the speakers. i quickly unplugged
it. i later realized that i had used the wrong power supply plug.
(those big 3 inch by 2 inch box things that you plug in, instead of a
normal male plug-in.) anyways, i found the correct one, and plugged it
in, and there was no buzzing. but... to my dismay, their was sound,
but no video. so apparently i burnt out the screen or something when i
did that. does anyone know what i may have done? once thats figured
out, i would like to try and repair it. i took it apart, just down to the electronics area, didn't mess with any of that, hoping to see a big black burn out transistor or something, no such luck. if you need pictures or more info i would be happy to share.
thanks |
