TAPE MECHANISM SHUTS DOWN MIDWAY IN REVERSE MODE AS THOUGH IT WAS AT END OF CASSETTE. THIS HAPPENS IN BOTH PLAY AND RECORD MODE TO ONLY ONE of the TWO CASSETTE PLAYERS/recorder units., ETC.
Can anyone shed light on this issue--machine perfect other than that. |

| REPLACE ALL THE BELTS, THEY LOOSE THEIR ELASTICITY AS THEY AGE, MIGHT AS WELL DO BOTH DECKS WHILE IT IS IN BITS |
