radio codes for bmw blauplunkt business cd

I recently bought a BMW Z3 and all was well till I disconnected the power. the radio now wants a reset code. The original code was in the paperwork but it must have been for a radio that has been replaced since the serial number is different.

I brought the new serial number to the BMW dealer and got a code but it shows up as an Alpine radio and the code does not work. My radio is a Blauplunkt with serial number 29982944. More completely the SN is BP0273299829442912. The dealer code was 11212 that does not work.

Any help would be appreciated
