| hello i was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. a couple of months ago i accidently knocked my technics eh760 off the hi fi stand. the problem is that after this accident the hi fi does not power up at all the stand by light does no even come on and the cd seperate has took most of the impact but i dont know if that could be the problem i rang a local reapir shop up and they told me that it would cost 50 quid just to look at it! any ideas? thanx |

Open it up and check to make sure all the connectors are still in tight, more than likely the board has cracked somewhere, we see this all the time after something gets dropped.

| ive already had it open i cant find any damage at all no cracks on the board or anyhting!!!! could damage to the other seperates cause no power? the cd seperate has took most impact strangely its all cracked at front any other way i can actually find out whats up with it!!! |

| ok i have found the problem with it, the front board on the amp as cracked, does any1 know were i can get the part from? or does anyone have the part? i would pay good price 4 it |
