Philips 25PT4501 won't turn on. LED's blink...

I have a problem with my Philips TV. The damned thing won't start up. This is what happens:

1) I turn the TV from OFF to STAND-BY. The LED turns to RED.

2) I try to turn the TV to ON by pressing the 'menu' button on the TV. The TV gets the command, tries to start up and switches the LED to GREEN.

3) Startup fails. LED goes to BLACK. Then to GREEN again and then to RED. Nothing happens.

When I try to start the TV from the remote, the TV gets into a loop. After 3) it goes to 2)

What to do?
