convergence problem and buzzing sound

Hi, I have a 27" Magnavox TS2552 C205 mfd in 1995 that suddenly went 3-D in picture and began to emit a buzzing sound (not related to audio). The buzzing is continuous as long as the set is on, even if there is nothing on screen, and the convergence is more than just a smidgen off. The set otherwise seems to work fine.

I know I had found the problem's fix in a forum a few months ago, but can not seem to relocate it now that I have the TV out of storage. Can someone help me? Thanks!
