Hello,
What type of grease is used for the circuit connections for say, ribbon to circuit boards to keep down oxidation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

In general, you need to use some type of dielectric grease to keep the crossion to minimum. There are several manufacturers such as
Permatex, Nye, wurth ..etc
Also Caig Lab's products do a good job in improving connection.
