Hi all,
As soon as I switch on the unit, the HOT shorts out.
I replaced all caps and the LOPT, switched the TV on, had a green light and sound but no picture. I again repalced the HOT but now as soon as I switch the unit "on" the HOT shorts and a bleeping sound follows. Please help.....thanks

Yes all the diodes check "ok" on my Fluke 79.

Interesting, it seems like n diode check does NOT mean that the diode is "ok" (under high freq I suppose) in this case diode 6580 BWV28-200 checked ok but the set only fired-up after repalcing this diode. (Solder was "ok" before replacement)
