Dont overlook the yoke. If shorted can cause same symtems due to detuneing of flyback circuit. thoe not as comon it does happen. If the flyback is singing that means its trying to run but probubly wont for long. The flyback also generates secondary power supply voltages. A problem in any of these could cause singing in the flyback. If your set dosent use a smp main supply try a vareac to run the set at a low voltage to save the HOT.[/code] |

Hello, I have what sounds like the same problem as others posted in here. I traces the clicking sound to part # 1536118A. When I took the back cover off I noticed a arc coming off it it to the red wire. I've repaired monitors before , But never a tv. Would this be something I could do on my own ? Or should I just take it in .
